Getting Registered

HOW DO I GET NURSING REGISTRATION IN AUSTRALIA?

If you are a registered or enrolled nurse and are planning to work under the same qualification in Australia, your first port-of-call should be contacting the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Becoming registered can take months, so it’s best to start the process before you leave for Australia.

The AHPRA website has everything you’ll need to get you started including downloadable forms, information and contacts.
