Our History

Access HealthCare International Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1997 Trading as Access Nursing Agency.Access Nursing Agency was then established, and set out to raise the bar and change the way nursing agencies had provided nursing and customer service in the past. Access Nursing Agency was the first Sydney agency to supply appropriately qualified mental health nurses to mental health facilities. From beginnings in Mental Health Nursing we have successfully crossed into virtually all areas of nursing and have remained firmly committed to the original philosophies of excellent customer service, making no compromises in placements and a strict recruitment process. We act as an extension of our clients’ organisations rather than simply a supplier. Our reputation has extended far beyond mental health nursing and Access is now providing staffing solutions across many private hospitals, aged care facilities, rehabilitation centres, community, International and domestic flight patient escorts. We supply corporations such as Nokia, Arthur Andersen, Good Health Solutions and the Australian Film, Radio and Television School with on-site nurses.
In 2001 we opened two new Sydney offices in Newtown and West Circular Quay. Randwick remains our head office. Our expansion into Ireland the United Kingdom and the USA will vastly increase our number of candidates providing services to Sydney healthcare facilities. Today we remain proudly proactive in upholding our established reputation, and creating innovations which continually challenge nurses beyond traditional barriers.
